There is Freedom in Christ Jesus

One of the realities of being human (and there are many) is our inability to avoid hardships. This generation does its’ best to avoid hardships but they come nevertheless. We can try to shield ourselves with possessions, wealth, positions or friends but give it time and troubles will come.
There are often many well-wishers who use the phrase, or variation of it, “I know how you feel.” In truth there is no one that can truly say, I understand. But there is someone who does understand sorrow and pain like no one. Yes, his name is Jesus Christ.
“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” Isaiah 53:3 (KJV)
Not only did he go through everything we could go through, he felt what we feel. None of us would survive if we had to go through what every person has to go through, yet Jesus did! In his divine position he was man and God at the same time. He could have delivered himself and shielded himself from troubles but he chose not to for your and my sakes. With this in mind we truly can find someone who totally understands what we are going through. Not only does he understand, he is here to help. The help that Jesus Christ brings is peace and comfort into a situation of sorrow.
In fact he is called the Prince of Peace. Meaning, he can give peace to your heart that no one else can. When friends or family are unavailable, Jesus will be right there for you.
